So why have your eyes looking a certain way you’re not proud of? Here are some natural ways to whiten your eyes
1. Eat Healthy!
Healthy eating cannot be over emphasized, there are a lot of benefits attached to it and one of them is having whiter eyes. Fruits and veggies contain antioxidants that help keep your eyes white, nuts like almonds, walnuts and peanuts also contain minerals that promote eye health.
Also, these fruits and veggies help detoxify your liver, if your liver is full of toxins, it wouldn’t process food properly and this would have an adverse effect on your eye health.
So guys, less carbs and more veggies.. Less sugar too.
2. Take Supplements.
You need to have an adequate level of Vitamin A & C in order to maintain good eye health. In addition to eating foods rich in these vitamins, it is also advisable to take a supplement daily. It is advisable that you take Omega 3 or Cod Liver supplements.
3. Get Enough Rest
You need to get 7 – 8 hours of sleep every night, as this will ensure that your body is well rested and restore your eyes to its natural white colour.
4. Drink 8 – 10 Glasses of Water Daily.
You need to take 8 – 10 glasses of water daily to keep your body hydrated and proper hydration means puffiness and redness in your eyes would be reduced.

7. Strain Your Eyes Less.
Staying in front of a computer all day puts serious strain on your eyes, but in most cases this cannot be helped as you have to sit in front of a computer to do your work. To reduce eyestrain however, you can reduce the brightness of your computer, blink often, do eye exercises, e.t.c.
8. Wear Sunglasses Outside.
It doesn’t have to be downright sunny outside for you to wear sunglasses, rays are constantly being emitted that may not be pleasing to the eyes. Wear UV protection sunglasses outside, so as to prevent damage to your eyes and as such, a change in colour.
9. Use Carrot Juice.
Carrot juice on the eyelids is as effective as eating carrots, just in case you’re not a fan of the latter. Leave the juice on your eyelids overnight, but be careful not to apply the juice directly into your eyes.
10. Use a Cold Compress.
Contact with something cold reduces puffiness and redness of your eyes, all you need to do is put a washcloth in ice water, squeeze out the water, and place the cloth on your eyes for about 5 – 10 minutes.
11. Create an Illusion with Makeup.
Brighten under your eyes with concealer as dark circles would make your eyes appear dull. Also, blue eye makeup would help to emphasize the whiteness of your eyes making them clearer. Using light coloured eyeliners also help make your eyes appear brighter.
