Man crush of the day

Hey ladies, here's our man crush of the day

Adebayo Oke-Lawal is the Creative Director of the Men’s wear label “Orange Culture“. He graduated from the University of Lagos with a degree in Finance and also a Masters in Business & International management from Newcastle Business School.
This talented, Quirky, Edgy, fearless young Nigerian had this passion from a very tender age, and that was when he started designing! Whoa, that is incredible!! He believes Orange Culture is not just a clothing line, but a movement for a class of men who are self-aware, expressive, explorative and art loving freaks.

He is a fountain of creativity and a pace setter. As a young designer, he has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Voice of America, Financial Times, etc. and has been a finalist for massive design platforms such as the Louis Vuitton and Moet Hennessy prizes. He also has been part of several fashion shows like Lagos Fashion and Design Week, South Africa Men’s Fashion Week and lots more,  and was picked by Vogue and GQ Italia to show his collection at Pitti Uomo in Florence Italy in June 2015.

To him Orange Culture is more than a line; it’s a movement – a campaign for men who enjoy unique clothes.  It is a label inspired by a man with a colourful disposition. The name Orange Culture emerged when he wrote an article a couple of years ago titled Orange Boy, about men and women who had interests that caused gender discrimination. People then started calling him ‘orange boy’ from that point, and he realised he wanted a label that celebrated unique individuals who seem to be different but have unique and colourful interests.
